    Incredible images recieved from popular former lecturer's daughter

    The university is delighted to have received a selection of incredible photos from former student Jane James, daughter of former livestock lecturer John Luscombe (aka Chappie).

    The images date back from times at the university between 1955 and 1961 – being received at a fitting time with final year photos for the class of 2019 being taken last week.

    Jane, who still occasionally visits Harper working as an associate lecturer, studied Agricultural Management and Business Administration, graduating in 1979. Spending her free time at the student bar and swimming pool, she carries fond memories of the nice atmosphere and sense of community at Harper Adams – something which is ever present in the modern day more than half a century down the line.
